June 19th, 2017...The Scorpion's Youth Volleyball Club is very proud to announce that 4 members of their Boys 14U team have been selected to attend the Ontario Volleyball Association High Performance Camp.
Kyle Astorino, Jacob Purfurst, Kaden Dicks and Evan Kritz have been chosen by the Ontario Volleyball Association to be part of the 14U High Performance Program.
The players will get a chance to develop their skills and athleticism in a structured OVA program that is integrated in the Athlete High Performance Pathway.
The new 14U High Performance Regional Program will allow athletes from across the province to experience a high-performance style of training and instruction through a 6-day overnight camp in North Bay July 2nd-7th, 2017. The goal of the program is to expose more athletes to both indoor and beach volleyball concepts as to create a broader and more skilled group of athletes in Ontario.
Paul Langan, founder of Scorpions Volleyball Club states, " I am very happy for these players, their parents and coaches. I know how hard everyone has worked to help our boys program grow. They will be good ambassadors for their club. They are excellent young men with a bright future."
