David Kay to Coach at Scorpions Volleyball Club

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is pleased to announce the hiring of David Kay as competitive team head coach.

WireService.ca Press Release (04/12/2016) Cambridge, ON - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club from Cambridge Ontario currently has 14 competitive teams and 500 youth in their indoor programs. The need for coaches is critical to the continuing success and growth of the club.

The Scorpions are proud to announce that David Kay has agreed to join our indoor volleyball competitive coaching staff.

​David has over 17 years of coaching experience at the college level. Some of his coaching highlights are:

• Fully certified Level 3 coach
• Seventeen years of coaching in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference
• Five time Alberta Colleges Athletic Association women’s volleyball coach of the year, 1986, 1991, 1992, 1996, 2000.
• Canadian Colleges Athletic Association coach of the year, 2000
• Guest Coach, Canada’s National Women’s Team, Spring Camp 1993 Regina, 1997 Winnipeg
• Alberta Volleyball Association, Post secondary coach of the year, 1993
• Guest coach, University of Calgary women’s volleyball team, tour of Italy, 1985
