Karen Omand Joins Scorpions as International Tournament Coordinator

Karen Omand has joined the Scorpions Volleyball Club of Cambridge, ON as International Tournament Coordinator.

The club has grown from 1 to 12 competitive teams in 4 years. Most of the indoor teams now travel to the USA to various tournaments and some of the Scorpions beach volleyball competitive duos travel to California to play.

Paul Langan, Founder of the Club, states, " The club has grown to the point where we need to address the issue of international tournament participation.  Our teams travelled to six different US states last year and played in 12 tournaments. Karen is perfect for the coordinator role. Her organizational skills are exceptional."
