The Scorpions 15U Boys traveled to Markham to play in a preseason tournament. They went undefeated in the tournament never losing a set.
They beat Toronto Unity 25 - 20 25 - 13, Kitchener Predators 25 - 18 25 - 23, Toronto Phoenix 25 - 17 25 - 19, Niagara Rapids 25 - 17 25 - 17 and Leaside Black 25 - 19 26 - 24 Team members are: Matt Sheffield, Sam Growden, Filip Marik, Alex Blagojevic, Liam MacArthur, Britton Holman, Matthew Schmidt, Lenny Lombardi, Nate Lachambre,Sebastian Siedlec,(Absent Sean Jackson) Head Coach Vaughan McMillan, Assistant Coach Bill Scott.

The Scorpions Boys 13U competitive volleyball team travelled to London for a pre-season tournament. In the round robin they beat London Forest City and the Stratford Cobras in straight sets. They then split a set with London LVC Heat.
In the quarters they beat London Striking Sharks in straight sets. In the semis they defeated Hamilton MAC in three sets. In the finals the Scorpions lost in two close games to Barrie Elites to capture a Silver Medal. The team is: Oscar Kim, Kyle Astorino, Jacob Purfurst, Ryan Schaefer, William Mackenzie, Ethan Pettitt, Konrad Siedlec, Lazar Paroski, Kaden Dicks, Evan Kritz, Liam Schmidt, Cameron Reid. As per the requirements of the Scorpions Constitution Bylaw 5.2, the Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club Inc. would like to announce they are having their Annual General Meeting November 29th, 2-4pm at the Holiday Inn, 200 Holiday Inn Drive, Cambridge. Every person currently registered with the club is welcome to attend. As per Bylaw 7.2, Any amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws or new business agenda items to be considered at Annual General Meeting must be submitted by email (scorpionsvolleyball(at)yahoo.ca) or in writing to the Recording secretary no later than 2 weeks before the meeting. WireService.ca Press Release (08/17/2015) Cambridge Ontario - The Scorpions Volleyball Club is the largest indoor and beach volleyball club in the Waterloo Region, Brantford, Guelph, Woodstock areas. They had over 1000 registered players in the club in 2014. The club has finalized the schedule for the boys and girls competitive teams. The tryouts will occur the weekend of September 12th and 13th 2015 in Cambridge Ontario. Players are expected to attend both tryout days. There is no charge to attend the tryouts. The club will have competitive GIRLS teams for those born from 2005 to 1998. The club will continue it's development of a BOYS competitive team program by adding a 13U team (born 2003) to the existing 14U (born 2002) and 15U (born 2001). The growth and expansion of their competitive progam is directly related to the large growth in their learn to play and house league programs.
