June 21st, 2017...Cambridge, ON... The Scorpions Volleyball Club is proud to announce that Lily Corkill and Chantal Lapierre have been selected to attend the Ontario Volleyball Association 14U High Performance Camp July 17th-22nd, 2017.
The new 14U High Performance Regional Program will allow athletes from across the province to experience a high-performance style of training and instruction through a 6-day overnight camp in North Bay at Nipissing University. The goal of the program is to expose more athletes to both indoor and beach volleyball concepts as to create a broader and more skilled group of athletes in Ontario.
Paul Langan, founder of Scorpions Volleyball Club states, "The OVA has made an excellent choice in these two outstanding young athletes. Both Lily and Chantal have strong skills and a mental acuity for the game. I look forward to seeing their continued development."

For Immediate Release..June 14th, 2017.Cambridge, ON... The Scorpion's Volleyball Club is proud to announce that Maddi Mulholland of Kitchener Ontario has been selected to be a member of Canada's National Youth Women's Team.
The purpose of the Youth National Team program is to identify, select and train a group of athletes who have future Senior National Team potential. The programs are also designed to identify an athlete pool to continue to develop through advanced training opportunities in future programs.
Maddi, was one of only 14 players selected from a Canada wide selection process.
She will attend a two week training camp with the team and then also compete at the USA High Performance Championships July 17-23 at Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Lauren Letoile and Sydney Hendershott have been selected by the Ontario Volleyball Association to attend the 16U High Performance Centre camp.
This year’s HPC is a 8-day development camp is a high performance training environment. Team Ontario coaches will be leading a variety of sessions with the athletes to help them develop their skills.
Athletes will be presented with concepts relative to the university and international levels in order for them to better understand the steps they need to take in order to achieve their high performance goals
The camp will be held July 9th-16th, 2017 at Nipissing University in North Bay.
