 David Aitken, Kayla Gaudette 18U Scorpions Green Girls Competitive Team Coaches The Scorpions Volleyball Club are proud to announce that David Aitken and Kayla Gaudette will return to the club this fall as the coaches for our Scorpions 18U Green Girls Competitive Team.
David Aitken is the Head Coach and Kayla will be the Assistant Coach. Renee Michiels, Scorpions Co-President states, " David and Kayla are an excellent coaching pair that work hard to bring the best out in their athletes. Kayla Gaudette, David Duhan and David Aitken Return to Coach Scorpions 16U Girls Green Team5/28/2020  The Scorpions Volleyball Club are proud to announce that Head Coach Kayla Gaudette and Assistant Coaches David Duhan and David Aitken will return to the club this fall as the coaches for our Scorpions 16U Green Girls Competitive Team.
The team last year was ranked 29th out of 196 teams in Ontario. Paul Langan, Scorpions founder states, " Kayla Gaudette, David Duhan and David Aitken are a powerful coaching combination. We are so fortunate to have three quality coaches coaching this team. Coach Kayla is one of our next generation female coaches that will inspire future young women to coach in volleyball. I am excited to watch this team in the 2020-21 season." Due to the present pandemic situation we cannot confirm tryout dates which are usually held in September. Kayla's team last year had a fantastic season finishing ranked 14th in Ontario. They also won junior team of the year at the Scorpions year end banquet. Paul Langan, Scorpions founder states, " Each year I see Kayla grow as a coach and a person. It is so rewarding to club and me to see her succeed as a coach. Coaching competitive teams involves making tough decisions and is not an easy job. Kayla seems born to do it." Kayla had a breakout coaching season last year as an assistant coach for the 13U Scorpions team. Kayla is a former standout indoor club player and District 8 All-Star. She still plays competitive indoor and beach volleyball. Madison McKellar will be Kayla's assistant coach for the 13U team. Madison is a former club player who also played varsity volleyball for the Conestoga Condors. Paul Langan, Scorpions founder states, " Kayla's dedication last year as an assistant coach to the 13U team was simply amazing. The drive and energy that she has as a player and coach will motivate and challenge the athletes she coaches.
