The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club are looking for coaches for their January 2014 house league volleyball season. WireService.ca Press Release - 11/28/2013 - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club Inc. from Cambridge Ontario has approximately five hundred youth currently involved in their indoor volleyball programs. The indoor house league program has 250 youth in it. The dramatic growth of the club has necessitated the need to recruit more coaches and volunteers for their house league programs. The house league programs run on Monday and Wednesday nights starting in January 2014 for youth from Grades 5 to 11. All programs are full. Paul Langan, founder of Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club states," We need 15 coaches for our youth house league programs. It is an excellent way to start for people interested in getting involved in coaching volleyball. The committment is only once a week. We are looking for quality people that want to give back to the community they live in by coaching our youth." ![]() Cambridge Times The Scorpions girls’ under-14 Green team won gold in their first tournament of the season in Cambridge. The 14U girls’ beat Woodstock and Brant in round-robin play. In the semifinals, they defeated Kitchener in straight sets and in the finals beat Woodstock 2-1. The Scorpions are: Emily Aitken, Jessica Ball, Brianne Banderob, Hailey Cole, Megan Dufton, Hope Harnack, Dakota Kersting, Tove Peterson, Lauren Reycraft, Liana Roller, Elyssa Trotter.
