The Scorpions Volleyball Club are proud to announce that former University of Waterloo Warrior standout players Aleks Poldma and James Evans will return to coach the Scorpions Boys 13U Team this year.
The Scorpions Boys team ended the season last year with a Provincial Bronze Medal.
Paul Langan, Founder of Scorpions Volleyball states, " This boys team last year showed dramatic improvement from the start of the season to the end." I am looking forward to Aleks and James working again with these young athletes to achieve even greater success."

SCORPIONS COACHES EXCITED FOR NEW SEASON
The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is pleased to announce the hiring of 29 coaches for their 2015-16 indoor season.
WireService.ca Press Release (09/03/2015) Cambridge, ON - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club from Cambridge Ontario will have 15 competitive teams in the upcoming indoor volleyball season.
The Scorpions are proud to announce that 29 coaches have agreed to coach for the club. The club has approximately 500 players in their indoor learn to play, house league and competitive programs.
The Scorpions are still looking for 3 more coaches to complete their competitive coaching roster.
Paul Langan, founder of Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club states, "I am so grateful to see so many new and returning coaches volunteer to help build the sport of volleyball in this city. We continue to look to fill the final three coaching spots so all youth have a chance to play volleyball for the Scorpions.
Scorpion’s coaches all receive an honorarium, clothing and have their coaching courses paid.

WireService.ca Press Release (08/14/2015) Cambridge, Ontario - As part of the Active Cambridge Expo at the Cambridge Centre Mall the Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club Inc. will have a promotional booth there.
The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Program has grown and had over 500 players registered in their indoor programs last year. This fall and winter the club has Learn to Play, House League and Competitive programs for boys and girls Grade 2-12.
The Scorpions Booth is located next to Bath and Body Works store.
Here are some of the things you can do if you visit our booth at the mall.

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club are very pleased to announce the hiring of veteran coach and volleyball player Jessie Louks for their girls developmental program.
WireService.ca Press Release (10/07/2014) Cambridge, Ontario - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is continuing to expand their indoor coaching staff.
The Scorpions indoor volleyball program is growing each year. The program consists of SPIKES learn to play, house league, sitting volleyball and competitive teams.
They estimate 500 youth will be registered in their indoor program in the fall. The club will have 10 competitive girls teams and 2 boys competitive teams.
Jessie Louks brings to the club a wealth of experience. Some of her career highlights are:
- 20 years competitive level volleyball player
- 14 years competitive team coaching
- Level 2 Trained Coach
- Can-Amera Games Volleyball Coach
- Played competitive basketball at Regional, Provincial and National Levels
Jessie will be responsible this fall and winter for developing a 14U Select Developmental girls team for the club.

Jeff Schaefer, who have been assistant coach for the boys 15U and 16U team is returning to help the 17U boys team as an auxiliary coach.
jeff is a former Conestoga Condor varsity player. His work schedule prohibits him from assisting on a full time basis but he is able to coach as his work schedule allows.

The 17U boys tryouts are on Friday September 12th, Heritage College - 7pm-8:30pm and Sunday September 14th, 4:00pm-5:30pm at Jacob Hespeler School, both are in Cambridge, ON.

August 21st, 2014 - The Scorpions Volleyball Club are very proud to announce that, former University of Waterloo Warrior and OVA Beach Player of the Year, Fiodar Kazhamiaka has agreed to join our 2014/15 indoor competitive volleyball program as an Auxiliary Coach.
Fiodar will be utilized in helping our coaches by providing targeted skill training for teams upon request. He will also provide a support role if a team needs a head or assistant coach on a temporary basis.

They range in age from 8 to 18 years old.
