Ariel Castromayor Returns Again to Coach with Scorpions Volleyball Club

The Scorpions Volleyball Club is proud to announce the return of Ariel Castromayor to our coaching staff for his sixth year. He will be the Senior Assistant Coach for the Boys 17U Team for the upcoming 2022-2023 indoor season.

Ariel's extensive background in coaching includes as a head coach for the boys varsity team at Conestoga College.

He joins Phil Kingswood and Michelle Wobst as the coaching staff for the Boys 17u team.

Tryouts for the competitive teams start the week of September 17th, 2022 at Jacob Hespeler Secondary School Cambridge Ontario. Details on preregistration and times will be announced soon at http://scorpionsvolleyball.ca

Coach Jonathan Loos

The Scorpions Volleyball Club is very proud to announce that Jonathan Loos, former varsity player for the Waterloo Warriors has joined our coaching staff.

Jonathan will be coaching a Boys Competitive team.

Jonathan has extensive indoor and beach volleyball playing experience. Some of his his highlights include:

Team Ontario Indoor Men's Team 2015
Team Ontario Beach 2015
Team Ontario Beach Full Time Training Center 2013

Tracy Knudsen, Co-President of the Scorpions states," Jonathan is a welcome addition to the club. Jonathan will bring his knowledge from his University of Waterloo varsity player years into to his new coaching role. We are excited to see him grow as a coach in the club."

The Scorpions Volleyball Club are proud to announce that competitive team tryouts start Saturday September 17th, 2022. The club will be having competitive boys and girls teams that play in the Ontario Volleyball Association. They will also run Select Competitive teams for girls that play in invitational tournaments.
