Scorpions Volleyball Announce Winter League/Program Registration Details

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club are very proud to announce details of their Winter League and Programs.

In CAMBRIDGE, we will continue to have two locations (Our Lady of Fatima and St. Vincent de Paul School) for our Monday Night Grade 7 and 8 Winter League. in the first couple weeks we will make teams and a schedule for each location.

We will continue at Our Lady of Fatima School for our Grade 5 and 6 program. Our High School Winter League will be on Thursday nights at St. Margarets of Scotland School.

Our AYR program has expanded. We will have our Winter League for Grade 7 and 8 on Monday nights at St. Brigid School. Our Grade 3-6 Skills program will be on Wednesday nights at St. Brigid.

For all players Grade 5 and up your fees include 2 tournaments, Jan. 18th and Feb 22nd, 2020. Registration is $!00. and can be done online at http://www.scorpionsvolleyball.ca/indoor-programs.html

Scorpions AYR Volleyball

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club expanded to Ayr Ontario with a fall volleyball program for youth in 2019. Due to the popularity of the program the club is expanding the program starting in January 2020 to two nights a week.

This expansion will allow more kids to play and be given enhanced learning opportunities.

Paul Langan, founder Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club states, " We are very happy about how popular the program is in AYR. We do not want to turn away any youth who want to play volleyball. Expanding our programs to two days a week will allow us to double of our current registration which is full. Coach Renne Michiel has ignited a firestorm of interest in volleyball in the community."

Program details are:

MONDAY - Our Monday night program will continue at St. Brigid for our players born 2006 and 2007 and we will offer a house league program. Starts Jan. 6th, 2020.

WEDNESDAY - We will move our program for those born 2008-2011 to Wednesday nights at St. Brigid School. We will continue skill building for all the ages and some small sided games for 2008-2009 players. Starts Jan. 8th, 2020

The fee will be $100. and included is 2 giant tournaments Jan 18th ( St. Bennedict HS) and Feb. 22nd (Monsignor Doyle HS) and a winter program shirt.
