The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club Inc. is one of the largest and fastest growing youth indoor volleyball clubs in Canada. This year the club is celebrating 12 yrs of providing youth indoor volleyball programs to the public. The club has been a recipient of a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to help partially fund the renovation of volleyball standards, nets and referee stands to allow them to maximise their use of facilities and increase their enrollment for years to come. Tracy Knudsen, Co-President of the Scorpions states, "Our heavy use of the volleyball standards and equipment happens because of our large youth registration. We would like to thank the Ontario Trillium Foundation, an Agency of the Government of Ontario, for funding the renovation of these volleyball systems. Investing in healthy activities for youth is paramount to the mandates of our club and the Trillium foundation."
