The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is very proud to announce that Amanda Wudarzewski will be returning to be the head coach of the Scorpions 15U/16U White Team that plays in the Southwest Volleyball League.
Amanda is a former varsity player for Brock University women's volleyball team. She still plays competitive indoor and beach volleyball. Amanda is also a mountain bike rider who won medals riding for the University of Waterloo and still competes in races.
Paul Langan states, " Amanda's first year coaching for us was a big success. We are happy she said yes to coaching again this season for the Scorpions. She is definitely a coach we have identified as being a positive force in the club for years to come. "

Tara Omand, Katelynn Monteiro and Jessica Frias to Coach Scorpions 1 Developmental Fall Indoor Program
The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club are proud to announce that Tara Omand, Katelynn Monteiro and Jessica Frias will lead our youth coed volleyball fall program for those born Born 2008-2009.
Tara Omand, is currently in the nursing program at Conestoga College Tara is our the coordinator of our beach volleyball program for the same age group. She is also a former assistant coach and player with the Scorpions. Katelynn Monteiro, a teacher, has coached in our competitive program the last two years. Jessica Frias,a teacher, is in her 4th year of helping coaching with the Scorpions 1 program.
Paul Langan, club president states, 'With the stepping down of the former leader of this program John Forman, we needed to re-energize this program and we have. Tara, Katelynn and Jessica are three dynamic coaches. We are so fortunate to have these three exciting coaches step forward to coach in this critical program for us."

The Scorpions Volleyball Club are proud to announce that Philip Kingswood and Michelle Wobst will be returning to coach the Scorpions Boys 14U team for the 2019-20 indoor competitive season.
Philip has over 20 years coaching and playing experience in the sport of volleyball. He played for Sheridan College for three years and then went on to coach at West Side Volleyball Club (Rexdale, ON), as a head coach for U14 to U18, for approx. 5 seasons. He also coached college level volleyball for 5 seasons at Tyndale College in Toronto, ON. He has coached younger ages also.
Michelle Wobst has been playing competitive volleyball for over 30 years.

The Scorpions Volleyball Club is proud to announce that Ariel Castromayor and Tracey Banumas have agreed to coach the 14U Gold Scorpions Girls Volleyball Team.
Ariel is entering this third year coaching with the club and is a former head coach of the Conestoga Condors men's varsity team. Tracey is entering her fourth year coaching for the club.

Patricia is returning for her 3rd year with the club and Megan in her 2nd year coaching with the club.

It is with great excitement that we announce that Jesna Marmo and Jessica Jessica Goudreau will be coaching the Scorpions 14U Green competitive girls team.
Jessna Marmo has played competitive indoor and beach volleyball for the Scorpions before attending Mohawk College and playing for their women's varsity team for 4 years. Jessna graduated from Mohawk in their Advanced Biotechnology Engineering Program. She has coached for the club the last three years. She has also coached high school volleyball teams.
Jessica Goudreau, returns to the Scorpions to be the Assistant coach for the team. Jessica is a former player with the club who has also experience coaching high school volleyball teams.

Their knowledge and passion for the game will make our 14U Girls Green team one of our most exciting to watch on the court. The Scorpions Volleyball Club, is the largest indoor and beach volleyball club in the Waterloo Region and surrounding area. They have programs for boys and girls ages 7 to 18. The Scorpions provide affordable programs in Cambridge.
The fall programs start October 9th, 2019. All fall programs cost less than $90.00.
Paul Langan, founder of Scorpions Volleyball Club states," We have programs for everyone. From youth who have never played before to youth with experience playing volleyball, we have a place for your child. We are so fortunate to have the support of the community. We have kids from 44 different schools and 6 different cities."

Paul Langan, Scorpions Club Founder states," Probably the easiest coaching decision to make for the club was to hire Mark Morell for our 13U boys team. He is a class act that has championed our boys program for the last couple years. I am sure it will be a fun and rewarding season for the 13U Boys Team.

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is very proud to announce that Bella Metler will return to coach the Scorpions 15u Gold Girls Team this year.
Bella is a former Niagara Rapids player and currently plays in the adult competitive leagues.

This year should be even better as the club will be giving more technical support to our newer coaches. We look forward to see the continued development of Bella as a coach in the club. The Scorpions Volleyball Club are proud to announce that Kayla Gaudette will return to the club this fall as the head coach our Scorpions 15U Green Team.
Kayla's team last year had a fantastic season finishing ranked 14th in Ontario. They also won junior team of the year at the Scorpions year end banquet.
Paul Langan, Scorpions founder states, " Each year I see Kayla grow as a coach and a person. It is so rewarding to club and me to see her succeed as a coach. Coaching competitive teams involves making tough decisions and is not an easy job. Kayla seems born to do it."
