Press Release: Scorpions Volleyball Club Meet Our Coaches at Cambridge Centre Mall

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club coaches and players will be at the Cambridge Centre Mall this Saturday and Sunday August 23th and 24th, 2014.

WireService.ca Press Release - 08/18/2014 - As part of the Active Cambridge Expo at the Cambridge Centre Mall the Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club Inc. will have a promotional booth there.

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Program has grown and over 1000 players registered in their programs last year. It is estimated over 400 boys and girls will play volleyball in their Learn to Play, House League and Competitive programs will play in the indoor programs this fall and winter. They range in age from 8 to 18 years old.

Our booth is located across from the Aeropostale store in the mall. Here are some of the things you can do if you visit our booth at the mall.

- talk with some of our dynamic coaches
- enter a chance to win some Scorpions clothing
- watch Scorpions Club videos
- pass the ball with some our Scorpions players
- ask questions about any Scorpions program

Founder of the Scorpions Club, Paul Langan states," This is our fourth year and to look back it is amazing how large the club has grown. We look forward to meeting parents and youth from the community to introduce them to the club and the sport of volleyball."

Here are some of our coaches that will be appearing at the mall.

Saturday August 23rd, 2014 

10:00am-11:00am – Scott Nameth – 17U Boys

11:00am-noon –  Tracy Liburd - 13U Girls 

Noon-1pm  -  Andrew Aitken  - 12U Girls  

1pm – 2pm -  Tom Podstawka - 16U Girls    

2pm – 3pm – SPIKES & HOUSE LEAGUE – Bernadine Verstraeten

3pm – 4pm -  Janet Cobbs Mulholland - 14U & 18U Girls

Sunday August 24th, 2014 

Noon-1pm -  Bill Scott - 14U Boys

The Scorpions table hours will be Saturday August 23th from 9:30am to 5:00pm and Sunday August 24th from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
