WireService.ca Press Release (07/29/2014) Cambridge, Ontario - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is expanding its competitive indoor coaching staff. The Scorpions indoor volleyball program is growing each year. The program consists of SPIKES learn to play, house league, sitting volleyball and competitive teams. They estimate 500 youth will be registered in their indoor program in the fall. The club will have 10 competitive girls teams and 3 boys competitive teams. Paul Podstawka, along with his extensive indoor playing experience at York and McMaster University, is also a former McMaster University Assistant Coach. Additionally, he had an excellent national and international career in beach volleyball. The 15U girls Scorpions competitive girls team last year finished 6th at the Canadian National Volleyball Championships.
