Scorpions Volleyball Club Announce the Largest Tryouts in the History of the City of Cambridge

wireservice.ca....August 1st, 2019...The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is proud to announce their tryout dates for their indoor competitive teams for the 2019-20 indoor season.

The Scorpions club will have 18 competitive teams. There will be 4 boys teams and 14 girls teams. The Green and Gold teams play in the Ontario Volleyball Association Tournaments. The White teams play in the Southwest Volleyball League.

Tryouts for the Green and Gold Teams will be on September 14th Saturday and Sunday the 15th at Monsignor Doyle School on Myers Road. Tryouts for the White Teams will be on Monday September 16th and Tuesday September 17th at Preston High School on Rose Street in Cambridge.

Tryouts are free to attend. Participants shall pre-register for the tryouts. For a list of all dates and times for age groups go to: http://www.scorpionsvolleyball.ca/competitive-teams

Paul Langan, President Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club, " We are the largest court sport for youth in Cambridge and the second largest youth sports organization in the City.  I am so thankful to have such a dynamic board and 38 coaches that have stepped forwarded to coach this season. I look forward to seeing everyone at tryouts.

The Scorpions are holding a Get Ready for Tryouts Camp on August 25th Sunday and August 26th where players can get prepared for tryouts and coaches can see you before our tryouts. It is 1.5hr session each day and only $25.00 to attend the Camp. Here is a LINK to information on camp times and to register.
