Scorpions Volleyball Club Expand to Ayr Ontario

August 12th, 2019.....The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club are very proud to announce that they are expanding into Ayr Ontario.

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club started in 2009. It is now the largest youth beach and indoor volleyball club in the Waterloo Region and surrounding cities.

The Scorpions will be offering a developmental youth program for girls and boys.

Here are the details:

• MONDAY NIGHTS - 9 weeks starting October 7th, 2019
• 6:00pm BORN 2009/20010/2011
• 7:00pm BORN 2008/ 2006/2007
• LOCATION: St. Brigid School, 50 Broom St, Ayr, ON N0B 1E0 
• COST: $77. 00 (before September 1st.) after $87.00
• Plus bonus December Tournament 7th at Jacob Hespeler SS. in Cambridge.
• All participants receive Scorpions T-shirts

Paul Langan, President of Scorpions Volleyball Club states, " We have always had players from Ayr in the club at our programs in Cambridge but in the last two years these numbers have increased significantly. We now also have 3 coaches from Ayr so we feel it is time to expand to this beautiful community.
 I have asked Coach Renee Michiels, former University of Windsor varsity player and current Scorpions coach, to lead this program and she has accepted. She is also an Ayr resident as is excited by challenge. I doubt it will not be long before we have Scorpions competitive teams from Ayr."
